Also I change oil today and look at the metal shaving build up on oil plug. I am surprise this engine still runs.

By looking at that, I could only imagine what the oil intake/pick-up unit looks like..

These engines are known to take a beating...will be interesting to see how much time you get out of it.
Good news is with heavier oil(20w50) the hot idle(200+temp) is now steady at 30PSI instead of 10-15PSI. But it does not matter for my engine its to late. For people who are currently idling at below 25PSI I suggest you change to heavier oil before it is to late.

To be honest I don't even want to drive it, at over 2k+ RPM the knocking gets to loud, but barely noticeable at idle.

Good luck with your next vehicle.

When you figure out what you want to drive next, do yourself a huge favor, and Google to find out whatever problems that particular car has presented to people who own them.

My wife's previous car, a '97 Ford Escort POS, committed engine suicide with little warning at 120k miles. I later learned that its 2.0 liter engine has a specific defect that usually grenades the #4 cylinder after 100k. (wish I knew that BEFORE plunking down two grand for it, lol.) After that bad experience, I spent a month Googling every other type of car she said she would consider driving, to discover the unique problems that each vehicle has. My head nearly exploded with so much useless information. :btruestory: But that's how I learned about certain Bonneville's UIM, Dexcool, and LIM gasket issues...

Ask the Google. The Google knows ALL, lol...
