Motor swap

Post by 95elite »

Hello, I'm curious if a 96 3800 from my bonneville will bolt right into a 2001 impala patrol car with the 3800? Theres a municipal department selling some for 350 not running, that I'm looking into. Also, how difficult would it be? Any and all information given will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It will. you just need to swap over the impala's engine mounts, rear exhaust manifold, throttle body, engine harness and possibly the evap solenoid.
