I've been waiting for over a month to have my GXP in GA picked up for shipment, and I'm running out of patience. If they don't have any updates for me by tomorrow, I'm gonna go pick it up myself. I'll be leaving Tuesday morning, making it to Missouri for Tuesday night, and then Georgia for Wednesday night. Back to Missouri for Thursday night and hopefully make it back to MN on Friday. Wondering if anyone is on this route that would want to meet up and/or have a place for me to catch a few zzzz's.

If you want I can ask my friend to look into getting a hauling company and see how quick he could get it up here. He is the Operation/Freight Manager for ATS here in St. Cloud and has truck all over North America bringing stuff here. I have been told before just to ask if I need anything moved.

Sure you can look into it... but I've contacted dozens of companies already. Nobody wants to take it because:
#1. It's inoperable.
#2. It's not a standard route.
#3. Both the pickup and destination areas are rural.
#4. Fuel prices are high.

It's been listed on the national truck load board for 4 weeks. Current price is over $1100 and getting no hits.

I figure I can do it myself for $850 in fuel, $100 in hotel stays, $50 in food.

Is it at a place that can load it with a fork lift or something similar? He said he can get it on flat bed or step trailer, but will check his companies tomorrow if you can wait that long. He does not work with that many car haulers though, but he said this would be the quickest option.

The loading piece is the most important though.

IIRC it's at a guy's place. They'd have to bring in a forklift, then bring one to Andrew's to unload it. That's his issue.

I highly doubt unload would be a prob, but it might have to be picked up in St. Cloud/Rockville at his companies yard. Not sure yet, he is going to check into it in the morning at let me know.

Yes, and the company that bid on it gave him the run-around on this, which is why he is at this stage.

I've had two companies fail me on uship.com. They simply put bids on stuff that they can't actually move.

Yes sir. I just put a new starter on the truck because its been acting up on me, so now I won't have to worry about it.
