Why no emblem???

Why no emblem???

Is it normal for the 2000 Bonne not to have the SLE emblem on the doors? I ordered 2 off ebay and plan on putting them on but was curious if other SLE owners have them.

Yes, you should have the badges from the factory, if they are not there someone at some point removed them.

I know 100% that it was not in an accident. Do the titles say SLE, SSei etc on them? Mine doesnt and I had someone look up the vehicle and it showed that it is an SLE. There are no indications on the paint that they were ever there but oh well, she'll have them soon enough.

They will come off clean if removed correctly. If it is Naturally Aspirated, with that body cladding, it is an SLE.
My title does designate SSEi. Not all do though and can be wrong. The dealer service records of work done when I bought it show White 2001 Bonneville GXP. :bluetwitch:

some people just dont like the badges, previous owner probably removed them.\

Now, when you get them... Ask someone here to measure theirs out so you put them back in the right place.

I got them in the mail yesterday and have to remove the adhesive still so if someone wants to give me the measurements that would be great. :beerchug:

I removed the badges on my car as well. The badges were on the car for 5 years and when removed, you could hardly tell anything was there. I personally like the de-badged look, but to each their own!!

Our '92 SSE came from the factory without any badging except for the trunk. - BC
