I could certainly live with $1200 across three years and that's a real performance gain and not placebo performance. Engine management and monitoring are no brainers, especially in a forced induction application so I really don't count them when adding up performance mod cost. Add in that these are nice cars that are certainly enjoyable to drive and you just can't complain really. I expected a higher investment actually, so I can dig it for sure. In for pics.

Yeah. Costs can really skyrocket when you start getting into cam's, etc. There it's $1k a pop, but the cost/hp is around the same.

Very nice job. Id like to see a vid of the Blue Beast roasting some tires
When are you going to do rockers on this here car? Or unless you have bigger plans?

1995 Jeep Cherokee Country- 200,XXX miles and running strong. 4.0L paired with a 5 speed manual. 4.5" long arm lift with 32" tires and regeared to make up for power. Best of all, shes a fire engine red!
2000 Bonneville SSEi- 145,XXX miles, bonestock for the time (don't hold your breath, it might be a long while)
Typos courtesy of LG Optimus G- yes, I do most of my trolling with my phone. Don't judge me.

Re: Work Underway; EDIT: DONE!
So, to formally finish off the story:
Thought the squeaky pulley was the plastic one, so I got a ribbed metal idler from the Advance, and found an empty Shopko parking lot to put it on in (hate being hassled by the advance guys) and it wasn't my problem. Turns out the lower pulley, the one on the "standoff" was siezed up. Ran to NAPA, and in the growing darkness proceeded to change it and spend 20 minutes getting the belt to not jump a rib off the balancer, LOL. Got it fixed and it's been fine in the 200 or so miles I've put on since, driving to the airport and back, basically. I now have 3 brand new, metal idlers, a spare plastic idler and a new tensioner, LOL. Glad that debacle is over...
