When installing an IC on a 99 SSEi...
... Acquiring a IC setup for my car and it comes with:
Core
machined LIM
hoses
GM Pump
Longer bolts -SC to LIM
LIM gaskets
and a few elbows and connectors.
I will need to get:
Two SC gaskets and cut to match
injectors spacers (is this the recommended route?)
Intercooler radiator -which is the best for the 92-99 H-body?
....... what am I missing here?
I have the Caspers valve cover breather so I should be covered since the PCV system will be blocked no doubt.
Another thing that I wonder about is the SC -I have a rebuilt and ported SC here (75mm inlet and full blown outlet porting) which I wonder if it will be ideal for this IC core setup (ZZP SS -for now).

Spacers will work, but billet rails are preferred for safety.
Front core is your choice, you'll need to hunt around.
Your SC outlet needs to be MACHINED, not ported. You need a 'pocket' to allow full distribution through the core.

I'd love to go with new rails, but I just don't have an extra $300 at this time.
I also just realized I'll need a new belt. Which would be the right belt for a 3.3/3.4 and a 1" thick IC core? 710 is what Intense says for a 1.91" core, so I wonder if I might be able to get away with a stock length belt all stock size pulleys other than the SC pulley.
According to ZZP's SS IC page, with the GM pump the heat exchanger's in/out should be on the passenger side. Is it possible to find a new radiator with the dimensions of the ZZP heat exchanger from a local parts store for cheaper -I'm sure after shipping it'll run me another $275 for the spacers and exchanger from ZZP. I'd like to try and get that under $200.
Here's the outlet of my ported SC so I should be good -it's the one on the left, but will be black when installed:

ZZP/WBS fuel rails aren't much more than spacers.
My blower works fine with the intercooler even without the added 'pocket' under the needle bearings, yours should work fine with the SS kit. Edit: here's a pic of my ported outlet vs. stock.

Look for a smaller scirocco style radiator for the FMHE, 21"x12"x1" core should be plenty. You may or may not have to butcher the hood latch bracing to fit it in there. I used a full sized scirocco style race radiator in my setup and it just barely fits between the headlight brackets and the fog light housings.
Make sure to setup some sort of fill tube or overflow tank to easily bleed the system.

My front core is from a Golf (IIRC). I didn't have to do much butchering.

I've test fit my exchanger and cut the bracket slightly, moved the ATS and it'll fit between the headlights beautifully.

Ditch the front valve cover breather - On the ZZP SSIC the PCV system functions like stock. No passages are blocked so there is no need to run a breather.
Ditch the GM pump - Its not going to work the greatest with the small lines and small inlet/outlet of the core. You need a pump that can handle some pressure - the flojet pumps are great for this.
ZZP uses a VW Scirocco radiator as most for there front mounts but most VW radiators will work great. Just search eBay for VW Scirocco - they can be had for ~$60 new.
The ZZP 1" injector spacers work great, they use factory injector clips so there is no worry about having them seat right.

Believe it or not, you want a Ford (Bosch) pump. They are far more reliable than the GM pumps.

It is also louder, heavier, and flows less then the GM. GM has another pump that is almost identical (looks wise) to it but I'm not sure the specs on it.
Either which way it is still a centrifugal pump. For the ZZP SSIC or any other restrictive line/IC core you want a positive displacement pump (flojet)

The GM pump has an expected life of at least 100,000 miles. Overall it's a good pump. The Ford pump is in the same category from what I've heard.
My choice of pump was made for me. Mezier 20gpm and rated to run nearly forever. It's pricey though.
