Plenum mixing door
Plenum mixing door
My 94 Bonne SE will not blow on high ( you can hear the blower increase) on either heat or AC, it appears that the mixing plenum is not functioning. What is the most effective way to gain access to that area, and to test it?

Willwren is the master on these, but you should see the actuator moving by dropping the glovebox. Watch for actuator movement while the temp is adjusted. Many times the gear breaks and does not move the door.

Re: Plenum mixing door
We need more specifics. Do you have a low flow problem or a temperature problem? Do you have manual or electronic controls?

Re: Plenum mixing door
Sorry didn't reply sooner but had some health issues to deal with. Anyway I have manual controls and when I try to use the AC, high blows the same as if it were on low, and the heater reacts the same way with very little velocity. The heater core is clean, I've replaced the blower motor, and just replaced the ac compressor and complementary parts.
