Welcome aboard! That's a great tool with a great price, if I needed another, I'd look at this one. Personally, I think if you made that a swivel head, it would be a big hit in the automotive market. Swivel heads are great for torquing headers or exhaust manifolds, especially on the rear bank of a front wheel drive motor.

Thanks for the welcome, and the suggestion. It is something I will look into, but the problem with the swivel head is that the accuracy gets thrown off when the swivel feature is used. This also applies to a "flex head" torque wrench - the wrench is calibrated with the head not being flexed. When it is flexed, the wrench will loose accuracy.

I would like to ask about one more suggestion. Is it possible to add torque angle to an electronic torque wrench like your?

thanks for the introductory offer...

What kind of warranty do you offer? Can we send it back to you for calibration?

Our warranty is industry standard: 1 year from date of purchase, 90 days for calibration. We have a repair/calibration facility in Chicago in case anything ever does need to be done to the wrench.

No offense to the OP, but shouldn't you be registered as a supporting vendor to sell things? PM willwren or another admin for more info.

Got it. Thanks Bill, just wanted to double check.

If I needed another torque wrench, I'd definitely be looking at this one. However, the torque angle feature would definitely be a BIG seller, especially for these cars.

First, I want to thank everyone for the response to our product. Second, we have gotten some requests to extend the sale through the upcoming Holidays - so we will keep the special going until 12/31.

Thanks again.

Somehow Mrs. Claus pulled one of these off for Christmas with a little help from some Elf (Gearhead) that lives very close to me (myfirstbonnie) and likes Fried Chicken (drives a rubber chicken). Rumor has it that he got one too.

VERY impressive. This thing just replaced 3 of 5 torque wrenches I own. The only exceptions are my inch/lb wrench and my swivel-head for exhaust manifolds. The three it replaced are for one very simple reason:

You can't get a mechanical clicker torque wrench that can be accurate in this broad range, from 15-150 ft/lbs. It's simply not possible. But with a digital load cell, you CAN. Coolest Christmas gift of the year by far. Batteries going in today, then some playing around with it to figure out all the features.

Yup, got one too. I had to check the torque on my Chicken nuts to try it out.

I am actually impressed with this and glad I got one. Highly suggested for anyone looking for a torque wrench.

After playing around with it, I have to say you can't get a better tool for the price. I already owned 5 different torque wrenches and have another dozen or so at work, and this one beats them ALL. If you have to buy one, this one will do it all very well. It'll do everything from the low-torque (20 for supercharger bolts or 25 for re-usable rocker bolts) all the way up and beyond wheel lug nuts. You can't buy a mechanical torque wrench that will be this accurate and effect at both extreme ends of the scale.
