getting LG off
now, not that i would ever want to do this, but in case i have the car touched up (i have several scratches that are pretty embarrassing, plus the rear bumper is in dire need of a repaint) what is the best way to remove Liquid Glass? i know its a sealant, but could i just use a lot of dawn, or is there a more complicated way to remove it?

prep-sol is a a wax and grease remover used to clean paint before sanding to remove crapola. also before prime or paint. even the oil from your fingerprints is a no no before paint.

Re: getting LG off
You should use 70% ipa the water in it keeps static charge down so when you paint it it does not turn into a dirt magnet
2.after using the ipa you need to wet sand the part down to remove a layer of film and create a smooth surface for the new coating to adhere to. I always use 800 grit wet as a final sand before base coating.
3.wash the area well with dawn (gets the grease off) and rinse many times as you do to get all the surface clean.
4.Primer area to create a good surface to bond to. if it fisheyes you did not get all the wax off!!!
5. base coat it.
6. clear it. flash 15 min then step 7
7. I recommend a bake cycle of 180 for 30 min this ensures cross linking of the coatings.all abs and PC abs parts will fine at this temp.
o yea,use a urethane system (i.e. DuPont Croma Premier) ,it will last for many years and take rocks much better.
DuPont 72500 Clear is the best top coat we use,it is a better performer that our oem top coats and give much deeper gloss .
