Re: Back into a truck....05 Tahoe LT
We got $6500 for a 170k 02 Suburban LT a year ago, with the older style interior that was much more worn. I think Jake got a good deal. That truck should easily last another 150k. We have an 00 K1500 5.3L w/ over 300k on the original drivetrain.

Re: Back into a truck....05 Tahoe LT
After seeing them sell off our lot, that seems like a really good price. I know pickups go for a little more, but my father bought an 06 Silverado Crew Cab this summer with 110K on it for like $16,500, booked for $20,000.

BTW, an Intake will REALLY wake it up. The stock intake is really restrictive and muffled.

It seems like a really high price to me too. I guess I'm using our recent purchase of the Suburban as the benchmark. It sounds like I must have gotten a smoking buy!
I really like the color of that blue. Very sharp!

Re: Back into a truck....05 Tahoe LT
You also have to remember his area, the time of year, etc. That all has a huge impact. In May you can haggle a little bit on a truck, in December people are standing in line for 'em...

I think I got a hello of a deal. With those miles, all the stuff it has, etc, an average between NADA and KBB was about 17k. And I talked em down 1200 from the asking.

Re: Back into a truck....05 Tahoe LT
Yeah, you're running on however long it was paid for, whether it was a year or what. You can look it up on the SiriusXM website as to how long your radio has left. I love it, we have it in all of our vehicles.

I wish this had an aux input for my ipod though, any thoughts on how to add that in?

I got this:
http://www.amazon.com/Isimple-Isgm575-A ... 955&sr=8-1
Head unit will control ipods and iPhones, it also retains all factory features.
Super easy to install, I ran it down into my cupholder like this:

I have an iPhone but it sits in there like this:

We got a free trial of XM and OnStar when we bought the Silverado. 3 months of XM, and 6 of OnStar, I think... maybe a year of OnStar. Wonder why you didn't get the same?

Re: Back into a truck....05 Tahoe LT
That's on new cars. If you call them and tell them you just bought the car, I think they'll give you a few months as a way to get you in.

Fullsizechevy.com is confusing lol. Had to make 5 posts in the tech section before I could post pics(read as image tags) in my intro thread. Needless to say they about the equivalent of me posting a popcorn eating smiley lmao.
