I have recently noticed an exhaust smell in the cabin while the car is idling. I let it run about 10 minutes this morning, smelled the exhaust again, and popped the hood. I noticed a thin trail of smoke coming from the front of the engine, directly behind the oil level indicator. Does anyone know where it is leaking from and how to fix it?
Thanks!!

Re: 2003 Exhaust Smell
Sounds precisely like leaking valve cover gaskets.

Awesome! There hasn't been any oil on the pavement but I have noticed oil around the valve cover. Is that still indicative of a valve cover gasket issue?
Thanks!

Yes, they don't drip or pour oil, they seep it out and it burns off before it can hit the ground.
