Winter Wonderland.....

Post by 99-SLE »

Am now located in Leduc AB... Took some time today while snapping some pictures for myself and family, to sneak some in of my poor dirty Bonne. She ran like a champ the whole way here, thru the worst early season storms to hit BC interior.. Was a white knuckle drive for sure.

Was about -20, with windchill around -26... Have been an Island boy all my life so this whole "cold" thing is new to me.

Beautiful Winter Pictures! Those wheels look even better in the snow.
This is making me a little apprehensive of when the flurries show up down here though. :helpsmilie:

Looks good on those wheels!
I don't like that white stuff much though...makes me cringe considering we're supposed to get some this Sunday, and I still don't have/can't afford snow tires for my crosslaces. :helpsmilie: :btruestory:

Leduc eh!
Been there many times...Actually had to stop there a few years ago on my way to Edmonton, poor old GTP did not have enough gas to make the final 20kms.
Welcome to the Cold. Last year Edmonton was the coldest place on earth for one day, -51C or -59.8 F for our American friends.

She's holding her own that's for sure.

However, my windshield took a big hit today, was going under an overpass, a Semi on the topside showered the road below with ice, rocks, dirt etc. Took a hit on the passenger side under the wiper, and watched it spread....Pulled over into a rest stop and filmed it go across the rest of the way. Kind of an interesting video if i could figure out how to post it from my Iphone.

Am sure some of you sicko's would enjoy my frustration :poke: :joke:

we get our -40 degree stretches here in western Montana, but normally the weather is comparatively mild. this winter is predicted to be another La Nina winter with more record snow fall, when cold air from Alberta and Saskatchewan comes down and hits the moisture laden jet stream the amount of snow is not going to be the worst part of this, though. it is going to be what happens as spring comes... and all that snow melts.
is there an after-market provider who makes pontoons for Bonnevilles? :bluetwitch:
