My first "real" car. Proud to say its a Bonneville!

Post by Kitt99 »

Hey guys! My name is Joe I am 20, and I have purchased my first car. For several years I was driving around the old family van, which I made it as cool as possible by slapping on about a hundred stickers. Anyways, my dad and I were shopping around for a car that I could get back and forth from college. We ended up buying a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SE from a guy down the street. It has 170k miles, but she runs great. accident free but a little oil leakage from the gaskets. It also has a few scratches here and there. I eventually want to do some performance modifications, but im not sure where to start. Ill get some picture up when i go home for thanksgiving break.

You can go places with Natural Aspiration, it just takes a little bit more effort in some ways...Start out slow, make sure your up on maintenance first off, then go from there.

Check out this list, I'd go through it first before any mods are made. Modding can shorten the life span of some components, and problems will show up if everything isn't up to the task. So do yourself a favor and make sure that you take care of the regular maintenance first, then onto modding.

Sure don't drive like a 17 year old! That's why you break resonator baffles at mini-meets... :booty2:

Still blame the baffle breakage on your riding along...at least I had a reason to change my resonator..unlike you! :P

I had a valid reason...I AM INSANE!
You still think my 140 lb arse broke your resonator baffle? It can make Carl's lumbar support squeak, but IDK about resonator baffles.
