Trunk Issues!! Please help!
I cannot get my trunk to open with the key anymore and I don't have a trunk release button in the glove box or a key fob to pop it. The key will turn like it should in the lock, but I don't hear the latch unhook or anything. I was wondering how to get the back seat rest off without destroying it, so that I can get into the trunk that way to try and fix it. Any ideas or insight would be great! Thank you!

Get a broom handle, tape a piece of wire in a hook or a coat-hanger with a hook to it and reach through the center pass-through with it and a flashlight and pop it open with the emergency release on the inside. Then take it apart and figure out what's broken. You don't need to remove the seat.
Bye Bye:

the emergency handle started in 02 or 03, so the OP won't have that option. They will have to remove the seat.
The seat bottom pulls straight up. The seat back is held in with 2 bolt and 4 clips. The bolts are at the bottom and hold the seat belt buckles down. They are 18mm. They four clips are at the top and can be released with a long flat blade screwdriver. Stick the screwdriver between the seat and the back dash, locate the clips, push down on them and pull the seat forward.
