99-SLE's 99... Well.. you get it....

Post by 99-SLE »

Posted some pics of my newly painted winter wheels in the detailing section. Here's some more I'd like to share.
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=29033 For the story on the wheels

Image

I've put about 16,000k on it since the swap was finished in April.

Image

This is the wheel that had the incorrect size tire on it.. They chipped all the paint off.. *shoot* happens

Favorite one of my Bonne to date.

posted in your other thread but glad i saw this one as well, those are some great looking winter wheels!

i love the DCM on any 96-99 but those wheels do a great job at complimenting the color, especially in that gray =D>

Cool pics... I REALLY like the colour of your car!
I am wondering... how come your car has a different radio than mine? I thought they were all the same.

Maybe i should think about some rims like that for mine... different colour though.
(dont want to be a COMPLETE copycat.)
Tinted 13% Front 3% Rear, MSD Coils and Wires, K&N drop in air and oil filter...more to come as things wear/break!!

Tint it so dark, you won't even know your name

Thanks for the compliments, I'm really happy with the wheels. The real test is coming up quick though! Have gotten through all the work I wanted done so I'm happy.

Wanting to try and throw a coat of wax on it if I get some time but I don't see that happening.

The radio thing stumps me. I thought they were all the same, I haven't seen any different ones.

Most SSE/i's had a two-band EQ, just for bass and treb, and some had the bass slider for the amp. Since your car isn't amplified, your HU is your amp, therefore you have a little more control. This is what I've picked up on here, I could be somewhat wrong, lol.

Those rims look amazing on that car. Especially since they are darker.
