Supercharger Pulley

I have a 2003 pontiac bonneville ssei with 97,000 miles on it. And i was wondering what the smallest pulley my car would be able to handle without wrecking anything. I was thinking a 3.4 inch pulley but I wasn't sure if it would wreck anything or not. So if anyone knows anything about this topic could you tell me some things about it.

I personally run a 3.6 on my car, and I have an Intake, exhaust downpipe, tune and 180* thermostat, along with the Aeroforce ScanGuage to monitor my engine. Have you seen my maintenance list? If you haven't, it's been posted a LOT, search it. Make sure that's all up to date, then we we'll talk mods.

The engine has to be able to flow the additional boost. I suggest an intake (Intense FWI is the best for these cars, hands down), downpipe and high-flow cat, and replacing your LIM gaskets before you pulley down.

ok so that seems like a lot of work to do. Im not really looking to put all that in it. So would you know of anything easy/cheap that i could do to make my bonneville have a little more power. The more the better.

Dont do anything until it is in perfect running stock condition.

Less risk of anything happening bad to it.

The maintenance takes an afternoon at most. The Intake takes an hour and a half if you don't know what you're doing, and the downpipe is something you should probably take to an exhaust shop. These are what we call "supporting mods" and are there to make the most of the smaller supercharger pulley. Without them you're not making as much power as you could, as well as potentially creating KR which can damage the engine.

These ARE the simple easy mods you can do. You can either spend the time and money now to ensure you're going to be safely and reliably adding power, or you can do it later when you're swapping in a new engine.
