What did you do to your ride today?
I've seen this on Bpro and several other clubs and it has been on-going, some exceeding 50 pages.
So I thought I would start one here.
Today, I did a spark plug change and finally fixed my washer nozzles. I snapped the nipples off when I attempted to repaint them black again (they were chalky gray from years of in the sun)
Gotta love SAAB for providing spare fuses because I pulled the fuse to the washer motor to prevent me from accidentally using it and spraying fluid all over the motor.
Spark plugs are due for replacing every 50,000 miles.

Haven't looked at my car in 2 days, lol.
One of these pops up every few weeks here, always seems to die after about a week. We're not behind the times Cody, lol.

Paid $79 for 57.7L (15.2 gallons) of 91 octane.
Technically I'm fine with 87, but with bonus points at my gas station this month, I essentially get a free car wash with every tank.

Re: What did you do to your ride today?
Swapped IAT's to check for poor running issues. Apparently solved with swap and reset...we see as time goes by! Also put K&N filter in the 05 SE so she can breath a bit easier!
2000 SSEi (Silver Eagle) cleared corners (before accident) new LIM gasket, drilled 180 T-stat, new plugs and wires, new valve cover gaskets, new Supercharger gasket, third brake light overlay. Hopefully soon to start more mods for performance. Also, 2005 White SE totally stock and will remain that way!

Thank you Bob & Vince for your hard work and kindness!!

Re: What did you do to your ride today?
Put on new Bosch Icon wipers, added a pint of trans fluid to put it slightly over-full to prevent the sump going dry, added a bottle of Techron and 5 gallons of gas, and Rain-X'd the windshield and front windows.

Filled it up with regular for $3.25.
Grinned at the fact that I'm getting 24 MPG.

Hopefully yours will serve better than mine. Mine was crap, wouldn't last a year if I tried. Picked up some Valeo from TireRack when they had the BOGO deal going. Fabulous so far.00Beast wrote:Put on new Bosch Icon wipers.

This is my 4th set in 3 years. They're fantastic till they wear out, some have lasted me 6 mos, some have lasted almost a year. I haven't had any luck with other brands.PRD2BDF wrote:Hopefully yours will serve better than mine. Mine was crap, wouldn't last a year if I tried. I bought a set of autozone wiper blades and they just crapped out on me about a week ago. Lucky if I got nine months out of them.
The rubber tore all apart on the blade.
I have goodyears on there now and not very happy with them either
The first set that came with the car literally started burning the rubber onto the windshield when I used them

Re: What did you do to your ride today?
I drained my bank account to $1 until I get paid friday putting $60 of gas in, and it didn't even fill me all the way up.
And, thanks to the cold weather (I'm assuming since it started acting up as soon as temps dropped) my PCS is starting to rear it's ugly head, so it'll be shift kit time soon.
Ever notice that the stuff that requires you to be under the hood longer always breaks when it's cold?

Gassed up the Saab the other day at 3.67 a gallon for premium, only to have the price drop the next day to 3.57.
Dammit.
