Well hello there

Post by anwisdom »

I've been messing around this and the previous forum for a while and decided to join. I am on my 2nd Bonnie. I have even converted my wife. My first, a 96 SE developed the curse. I went unnoticed until it split the engine block. Unfortunately I did not have the funds to replace the engine and only being an SE I decided to wait. I bought a 85 Olds Toronado, another great yet under appreciated car. In the mean time my wife found a 2000 SE, we promptly upgraded the intake plenum and gaskets. She loves it. A few months ago my wait ended; I found a 1998 SSEi. Anyway, I have enjoyed tooling around and will continue. Glad to see fellow lovers of big fast cars.

Sorry, I didn't get any photos, I was pretty distraught. It was the 2nd car I have had to just give up on. I think I had the damaged intake plenum for at least 2 years. I kept putting coolant in and thought it was leaking out the crack in my expansion tank. OOPS! But she made it to 190,000 so she had a good life and with me driveing, those were hard miles. Image
