Thanks for the dex article! I know the 40th is just the emblems and mats. No extra value. I just like the emblems on the sail panels.

The extra padded rectangular section is stitched onto the mat. The emblem is plastic (not stitched) and glued on.

If you purchased the car new, there was added value to the 40th package in the form of a bundled discount of options.

I have my window sticker if anyone needs to confirm this.

This dex cool always made me nervous. With 16k miles on a 1997 I think I should dump the dex cool....but the lim and uim should be changed at such low mileage? I hope not! Does it go based on age or mileage? Prob know the answer....

Age alone can kill those gaskets with DEX in there. The UIM should be done at the same time for convenience, it WILL burn through eventually.

:stupid:

Fix it now while it's maintenance, instead of later when you're doing an engine swap.

Also, we need pictures of this gem.

Bonnevillans and I are planning on meeting up. I'll take a picture of both our cars together and post it here. BTW, both are cars are '97 40th in white with taupe leather.

What about the 40th SSEi? Was this a different package because almost all of these I've seen have chrome torque stars.

As well as, what did the floor mats look like?

As I have a 40th but no 40th floor mats....
I have original mats..unused....

This thread is 3 years old.....

If you want to sell your mats, put them up in the for sale section.
