Bug/tar remover should work for the glue residue. You can get 3M double sided badge tape that should work to put it back on.

3M automotive attachment tape would work fine. Most auto parts stores carry it.
Works great for things like that and more.

Thanks 4 the move I should have known better lol... I was thinking on the tape too but afraid will look funny with strips of tape between the letters... Maybe I can razor blade the excessive off... Would an Epoxy work for a (Plan B) ? I just hate to loose it on the road I feel super lucky I seen it in the gravel before I was ready to leave... :bwoohoo:

I wouldn't use any kind of chemical or glue. Use an adhesive tape, that way if you ever need/want to remove it in the future it doesn't ruin the paint underneath.

Jeff, how often do you come to Corvallis? I have the adhesive you need.

You Trim the tape to match the shape of the badge so you don't see edges.

Well I got the idea and got a lil zippo fluid and the goo came right off with a Costco card... I washed and then waxed the affected areas and figured she don't seem bad looking Debadged... In fact I think it looks even more stealthy Keep the Rear on trunk & loose the door ones? Opinions?
