HELP ME! MY 01 SSEi IS POSESSSED!!

My 01 SSEi just started freaking out. My driver information center, turn signals, heated seats, hud, fog lights, heat / ac, instrument panel lighting and others r not working. HELP!!!

What DOES work (electrically)? Does the car start? Easily or with difficulty? Did this happen suddenly, or has it been getting worse over time?

Check your battery cables and the electrical connection at the top of the fuse block under the hood. Make sure all connections are clean, and protect them with some di-electric grease. Have you had any water leaks?

Does the car start? My ex g/f had a similar problem with a 2000 Impala. The car would start, but none of the gauges or instruments would work. No speedo or tach, no radio, it was like the car was off but you could drive it. It turned out to be something related to the security system, as the key would start the car but it wasn't being recognized by the security system somehow and none of the intruments would come on.

I'm not sure what was replaced to fix it, maybe just a reprogram of the computer.

That sounds bout right. I had some problems with the key not wanting to turn a few days ago. The security system light is on and flashing.
