Make sure you have all the items you will need, the bolt, etc. I have swaybar link bushings you're welcome to have one, so you don't need that, and I have some spare washers in case we need them.

I believe my car is in for a solid front mount as well, might as well throw mine on the list for getting that swapped too..

The name's Carl. I should probably put that in my sig. lol So basically 3 hockey pucks and the bolt? Also, I don't have a drill so I can't drill the pucks myself. Should I find somewhere to do that? Or can you drill them? Thanks ahead of time for all the help!

Look at the link in my post above, scroll to the bottom and Andrew had a list of items necessary, Ive got a drill as well as the other tools, I have extra swaybar link bushings so you don't need one of those, but get everything else.

Just found my Lowe's receipt LOL
I got grade 5 hardware...they didn't have grade 8,
1/2" flat washers, just got a bunch, theyre cheap, I have some left over...
1/2 Lock washers, not necessary but peace of mind for me... May still have a couple...
1/2"x8" hex head bolt, I'm 99% sure its 8"... I'll measure for sure tomorrow...
1/2"-13 hex nut
and of course three hockey pucks...
and the swaybar link bushing, of which I have like 7 left LOL, I'll hand those out like candy til I'm out...

You only need a 7.5" bolt. If you get an 8" you'll have too much and use a bunch of washers to make up for it.

Just checked, I used an 8"...I've got a little extra past the nut on top, but I'd rather have had extra than not enough, thanks for the confirmation Ed.

How do you know if the swaybar link bushings are bad? My car is approaching 102k and im sure never been replaced....

And going to Lowes today to get supplies for solid mount! :D

I could always tell by looking...is your steering loose at all? Im talking about s.b.l. Bushings for the head of the bolt where it goes through the core support...by putting that there, you eliminate a lot, of undesired vibration

i know andrew confirmed this,but ssei get almost no vibration and sle/se get more....

im down to helping with whatever is needed, been a while since ive tinkered with the bonneville, but it was always fun

The car doesn't make any rattles or clunks when going over bumps. The only clunk I have is the Intermediate shaft that needs greasing..haha.

Are you bringing out that 98 GTP that is listed in your sig??

I have a drill/ template for the hockey pucks and sway bar link bushings to put between the head of the bolt and the core support, and a whole bunch of other tools either at my gram's or ten minutes away at the flip.
