Bonnie got new shoes!

Post by Ghosthawk »

In more ways than one!

New brakes and rotors installed with painted calipers, and the Stern ST-7 wheels with Nexen 235/50/18 tires.

I stopped off at the local airport for some backdrop scenery after I visited my daughter at the mall

Is it just me or do they make the car look smaller? Regardless, they look amazing. They make it look more sporty! Love them.

It will also drastically change the ride and the axle angle. I tried the lowering spring routine with my Grand Prix with less than stellar results. The car looked more aggressive to be sure, but the ride was brutal and the vibration from the axle angle was terrible. Shorter dogbone mounts helped the problem a great deal, but it never went competely away.
After I drove the car to Texas and back, I removed the springs and vowed never to ruin another daily driver like that again, so Bonnie will be keeping her stock springs and her smooth ride.

As far as tint is concerned, that is still on my list of future mods, but tint laws in Virginia limit the amount you can use. I wouldnt want anything insanely dark anyway, but something medium to light does help the a/c in the summer.

Ahh yeah. I did not realize that lowering it would be that drastic of a change! Well in either case, the upgrade did the car justice!

Really nice looking. Maybe some tire dressing too and the tint. I wouldn't lower it either.
The custom decals really make it "your" ride.
