What did you do to YOUR Bonne today?

Post by 99-SLE »

Aug 19th- Complete front brakes, Calipers, Pads, Rotors, Rotated tires, fixed a bead leak, While all 4 tires were off I cleaned and polished the insides of the rims, Wire wheeled rear drums and painted rustoleum black, along with the wheel wells.

Also did my oil change, about 1000K early, But it was on the hoist, so why not:)

Massive burnout in front of a gas station. I was pissed. They no longer have non-ethanol 92 octane in town. Have to drive 15 fooking miles for it now.

PeterG's G8 GT mopped the floor with the GXP at the dragstrip today :btruestory:

low 13's vs. low 15's :-# Humidity was bad and track prep not so good. I could launch almost full-bore in Michigan, whereas any sort of throttle would break them loose tonight.

Drove it for the first time in 3 days. I had a 2011 Impala rental for work - loved it. Noticed that the supercharger is a little noisy, probably the coupling so i have to look into that a little more. Filled it up for $120.9 a litre (premium)

Painted the bolts of the front license plate white (like the background color of the plate). Most important!

Got it back from the dealership. They didnt fix the rear bushings like they said they would.

But the new pads and rotors they installed feel great.

I FINALLY installed my GXP door handles which I have had for like 8 months. I then cleaned up the inside a bit and took the parents out to dinner in it!
