SSEi idle/acceleration problems (w/ vids)

Post by shSSEi »

Well, my car is still acting up, after I thought I fixed it. I've replaced and cleaned the MAF as well as replaced the TPS because both threw codes. The car does not idle smoothly as demonstrated in the first video. Second and third videos show how it kind of revs higher than need be under normal acceleration (read: not flooring it  ).

Kinda hard to tell how it's idling here. The best place to tell is at the end with the exhaust clip.

In this one I am not pushing the car at all. Just nice and easy acceleration. At the point that the RPMs go to about 3700, I have not pushed down any harder on the gas.

In this one I am pushing the car more than in the previous video, but again, when the RPMs jump, I have not pushed any harder on the gas.

Sorry about the poor video quality, I don't have any better camera. Audio is quiet so you may have to turn up your speakers.
Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks.

The videos don't make it too obvious that anythings wrong. The easiest way to tell is to actually drive it.
