Advice on putting audio system in.
Hello, I am new here and I recently bought a '97 Bonneville from my sister in law and I wanted to put in my stereo and sub system I had in my old car. I just wanted to know if there was anywhere in the firewall I can put the power wire through or do I need to drill my own hole and if that is the case where would be the safest place to do so. Second, does the interior trim under the doors just pop out so I can hide the wires underneath, my old car had screws to take the trim off and I don't want to start pulling and break something. Thanks.

Re: Advice on putting audio system in.
Thanks for that link, now my current dilemma is one others have had as well. When I put in my aftermarket stereo it turns on and works but there is no sound. I was kind of reading into other posts about this issue, I do have the blue wires connected, all my fuses are good, I even went down to the local custom sound place and the guy couldn't figure it out as well. Now I was reading stuff about the Bose amp and how you need to by pass it or splice a wire to another wire but I didn't really understand those posts.
I have the proper wiring harness, all the wires are tied off to the matching wires and secure, my aftermarket radio is still good, and when I gave up today and put the stock radio back in, the sound works. Please help and thank you.
