Night just ended here at 10:30. Alberta Matt just drove Oregon Matt back to the KOA in the G8, leaving the 89LE here. Diagnosed failing water pump, rattling like a main bearing. We'll fix that in the morning and wash the G8.

An early start on tomorrow's dinner is planned, we'll be beer-bath boiling the brats early, to leave enough time to get them on the smoker before we put half a cow on the grill.

Day 3 of the meet was a success, looking forward to the last arrivals tomorrow.

We began by cleaning up Bill's garage today. It was a real challenge finding room but the puzzle was completed in an hour or two.....then we headed off to watch the Transformers movie. It was OK but the best part was the first few minutes watching the scantily clad Victoria Secret model fashioning her underware. :booty2:

Image

Then Matt got me excited. Then he got the dogs excited.

Image

Image

As soon as Matt arrived he began chatting up the ladies..

Image

I ate so much and it was so good!! Bill got horny.

Image

Rod and Cindy showed up in the banana car.

Image

Bill Zilla'd Matt. He was thirsty after the long drive. Real thirsty. :beerchug:

Image

Image

Bill and I were thirsty too. PATRON!!! The Tequilla shots began.

Image

Bill got so excited he fingered me in one of my orifices!! Much better experience than his bowel expulsions. :ballkick:

Image

Laura drove me back to the Hotel. I'm off to bed now. I didn't get drunk.....much. Saving my mojo for later.

LVMatt was complaining about an off metallic noise from the 89 Bonne.
Tommorrow morning we'll be changing his water pump.

We might also be dropping my fuel tank to see if there is an obstruction in the pick up.
It went lean on me on full throttle when I hit 40 mph in 1st gear. If we can't figure it out, I won't be racing.

Dryer fixed, water pump done, tank seal for the Firebird will be here at 7:30 in the morning, it's down for now, Paul and Laura are taking Lisa's Buick.

Jordan and his Dad are here, Keven, Ray, and Angelica are here from Idaho, and the 4 from WA are at the KOA setting up, then on the way here. Food is starting to come out for our big dinner tonight. The grill and smoker will both be going soon.

Last count was 21 people, still waiting for Backhoe.......(and 2 dogs, 3 cats).

Starting this morning, dropping the Firebird Formula tank and tearing down Matt's 89 for a water pump swap (he left the car here last night, we tore it down while he shopped for a pump with Moderator Matt:

And the MEAT:

Special order rib-eye marinating, almost ready to grill, Salmon sent from Celin in Alaska, the green pot is custom special-order brats in a beer and onion bath, they're headed for the smoker very soon. Lots of other food getting ready too:

My place is small, but it's great for socializing. There's a TON of conversations going on right now. And Jordan's new haircut is fun to rub backwards. Really cool. Like rubbing a porcupine without the pain.

It was a great day!
Everyone who said they were coming showed up right on schedule.
The barbecue turned out fantastic and was sooooo goooood! =P~
The meat was tender and tasty! The beer was cold and satisfying.
Saving the Taquilla for Saturday night.
Cars are all washed up and gleaming like new.
Heading back early tomorrow, once the fuel tank sender seal arrives at 7:30am to make sure the pick up sock is unobstructed. It won't take more than 1/2 hour to pop the tank back in the Bird.
The exposed Firebird Butt made Bill excited and he was constantly showing off his Butt in jealous butt envy.
He was seen rubbing his underwear on the Birds beak as I pulled away in Lisa's Buick couch-mobile.
Had a 'little' brew with Rod and Cindy on our Hotel balcony....Laura fell asleep while she was mid sentence, so we knew it was time for bed. Tomorrow will be a big day.

Old school, vs new school, vs army school. Don't touch that dial and stay tuned for the action....... :bwoohoo:

Paul, Rod, and Matt Williams just headed out for a test in the Firebird. We got the tank back in, found very little in the strainer, tank looks great inside. Back-flowed the line from the regulator to the tank, looked good.

They'll cheat the secondary cold lockout on the test drive if the secondaries still stumble above 3/4 throttle.

Saturday started with re-installing my fuel tank and porting a Gen3 SC.
The fuel tank was as clean as the SC polishing.
Still a problem with power but I ran anyway. Two runs and I quit in disgrace. Had a hard time keeping ahead of the Suburban.

Clint from Club GP was there to Meet us.

Cathy ran the 89 Bonne and was a real pro.............. only had to re-stage once but at least didn't take off in reverse.

One of the best runs of the day was between Jordan in his Z28 and CaddyMatt in his dad's Mustang. Real close race but the Ford won #-o Jordan trapped faster by 1 mph but Matt beat him by a tenth. Jordan spun bad on take off with a 2.4 sixty foot compared to a 2.1 and that's where he lost it. [-X
