Painted Calipers

Post by jedwards83 »

I've painted the calipers on other cars I've owned with good success, so I know the process.

I'm not sure what color to paint them however. Red is the traditional "sporty" color, but I don't know how well it would look on a dark bronze car. I was thinking gold, but still not sure. Opinions?

I'd do black on the dark bronzemist, just to keep them clean. I really need to paint or replace mine, they look horrible...

Go red or leave them rust colour.
Mine after four years still look freshly painted. Mind you, I don't drive it in the rain and use ceramic pads.

Painted mine gold a few years ago, and I have the same Pontiac caliper decal too. I got mine from ZZP's decals.
My calipers need to be redone though, but this was the day after I painted them.

Red would look TERRIBLE on a Dark Bronzemist car, IMHO. I'd go with black...

I vote for body color. I think that would accent it really well.
