Works for me With any luck, I'll be checking into the KOA on Monday, too, around 6PM or so.

Same here, if all goes as planned.

First ferry off the island, wait at border, flat out all the way south.

I'm taking the 7:30 am ferry at Saltery Bay on Monday.
That will put us in Vancouver by Noon.
Border crossing should put us on I-5 by 2:00 pm.
Another three hours and we are staying in Cascadia at the Best Western by dinner time.

Tues should take us about four hours drive and be in Corvallis after lunch.

You got that right. :laughing3:

"Didn't you see me, boy!?! You were doin 70 in a 60 zone! Oh, sorry officer, but I'm just a Canadian tourist and not familiar with the ticket zones and I had my Cruise Control set.
Ya, there was another Maroon Bonne that I ticketed just minutes ago. He wasn't using his Cruise Control.

OK, I'll just give you a warning, but slow down and enjoy your day.

Yes, I will be running an unusually large pulley most likely.
My GTI only has provisions for my tow hook on the front IIRC.... :P And I doubt that Travis has something to tow you with as well lol...

I wouldn't on a half popped piston.. Buy a longblock in Oreygun, and do it on mod day! Gotta get the record for engine swap back to the midwest/west!
LOL. I talked to a guy from SEACGP who put 160,000 miles on his motor and hundreds of track passes with a popped piston, I've been being very hard on it and carefully watching everything lately and it appears as if nothing ever happened :???:
gtpilot wrote:I had this happen to me 5 years ago on #6 cylinder. I just replaced the plug and have put over 160,000 miles and hundreds of trips down the track, so far no problems (knock on wood :D ) anyway you may get lucky like me and get several years out of it, you never know.
But yeah, $400 includes a u-haul truck and a trailer.

Bill, if you can find the time between now and then, could you make sure that the local parts store has front struts in stock for my car? And maybe make an appointment at the allignment place? And the tint shop?

And would it be alright to have a few things shipped to your place?

I should be at the KOA by Monday evening unless something happens. Tuesday for sure even if we have to walk.

Thanks

Oh man, am I stoked! I can't wait!!!!

Question... Does anyone have any experience with e-tickets? I guess that's how I'm getting my tickets, but I have absolutely no clue how I obtain them. I called priceline and all they said was that each airline had different procedures... ok... Anyways, I've only flown a few times by myself, and all of them were with paper tickets... So, yeah, anyone know what I need to do to get my tickets? TIA!

E-tickets are for Flights booked on line and then they e-mail you the confirming information with reference number and schedule. You print and take that to the terminal for your flight passes.

Might be too late for some hotels. You will have to phone them on their toll free numbers. Google for their numbers. We stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Corvallis.
