Radio Issues

Post by 94Bonnie00 »

I have a 2000 SSEi with a 12 Disc CD changer in the trunk. I pulled the car out of winter storage and went to turn on the CD Changer and the unit would not play the CD. I tried to change the disc and the display on the radio said ERROR. I went to eject the CDs and they won't eject nor does the light come on. Is there a fuse that could be blown and if so where is this fuse at.
Also on this car there seems to be 2 out of the 3 bulbs in the display of the radio seem to not be lit. How hard is it to replace these bulbs?

No, I had the same issue with my CD Changer. I had to get a new one for $120. IIRC Sawgunner has one for sale. It's not a fuse.

or you can send your radio to harofreak00 and he'll do them for you. Shoot him a PM.

I got a new CD changer and installed it. The new changer doesn't work just as the other one. I do have power back to the changer. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Sounds like another bad changer. Where did you get it?

I have one here guaranteed to work.

I got it from Sawgunner. He said that it worked prior to him pulling it from his car.
