Low traction light and ABS engaging all the time.

Post by Grapes »

every time i go to stop my low traction light turns on and ABS kicks on, even if im going under 10 stopping for a stop sign. the abs turns on and the low traction light goes on. this started today, for the last year the ABS light was on on and off through the year, that i didnt care... this is annoying. its summer on dry paved roads.

my car has been acting up lately, im worried

on a side note my rear right is 1" higher than the left, what causes that?

Sounds like you might have a bad sensor or hub.

However, maybe your jacked up right rear is getting off the ground under braking, and therefore locking up causing the ABS? Is your front left shock out? Busted rear suspension?

well, right rear is 28" off the ground (from the bottom the the body above the wheel) and the left is 29-1/2" the shock if basically fully extended and air wont relase but the compressor works fine, i have tested the system.

about the low traction and abs feature kicking on at every stop, i just disables ABS alltogether, it stopped the low traction warning at every stop and i never really like ABS [-X
