Re: 1997 SSEi
That's a great compliment, I am not worthy. Give me until Mid-Spring and I'll do more detailing and probably have something worthy of some nomination. Thanks for the vote of confidence.Gumball wrote:nice looking ride, more pics please viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8216

Re: 1997 SSEi - more recent photos
Like I said, when the weather changes I'll add some nicer photos. Here they are...
In the park, clean, illuminated.

She has a nice rear end, no?

Dashboard

Night illumination in red with blue highlights. My "Star Cruiser"

How else would one know how fast you were going unless you took your eyes off the road? REAL hard (dangerous) photo too. And it looks much larger in real life than in the picture. Very useful in tight roads and bad weather. Only hard to see on very bright days.

The iPod configuration. I need a longer cable but otherwise it's pretty convenient. Turn to 88.3 and crank it.

This factory wheel design works well with the car.

I also created this page description from my own site, Pontiac Bonneville Club has great features but this lets me have my own page, however I want it. Of course I don't need to invest a lot of time, same photos but it's just to the point. If I've omitted anything important, feel free to advise. Thanks! -link

Re: 1997 SSEi
Everything looks good!
For the iPod cable, I found a really nice 3' cable at best buy for like $12, and it's designed for home stereo setups, so it's a large gauge and ends and makes it sound crystal-clear.

Re: 1997 SSEi
Look again..."What steering wheel lights?" I only wish it was as easy to fix on the real world as it is in Photoshop. I think I posted something about that when I first picked up the car and determined that for what it was worth I just needed to lower that on my list of priorities, but yeah (sighs) it bugs me too.wake wrote:only problem i see is your steering wheel lights on the left side are blown![]()

I love the Star Cruiser shot! One of the things I love most about Pontiac is their cockpit-like command chairs.

Luke may have been the Jedi, but Han had the awesome Millineum Falcon, and down inside, didnt we all want to be Han?

Re: 1997 SSEi
Absolutely, was thinking that the other day as we passed through Star Wars while channel surfing. The look as Leah, Luke, Han and Chewie as they embarked on the galactic road trip. I certainly wanted to drive the Falcon.Ghosthawk wrote:"It'll take few moments to get the coordinates from the navi-computer, so strap yourselves in while I make the jump to light speed." - Han Solo
