No power to the sunroof
Where is the fuse for that? I looked under the hood and seat but nothing for sunroof.

Re: No power to the sunroof
The sunroof receives power through the RAP fuse and relay. If those were not working, you'd likely have more problems than just the sunroof. Check for power on the dark blue wire on connector one of the sunroof control module. That is under the headliner at the rear passenger side.

RAP?
I did have the headliner down, I wonder if I unplugged something at the rear?

Re: No power to the sunroof
It's listed as the RAP fuse. That's retained accessory power. It sounds like you may have a problem with the track on the sunroof. Someone with more experience on the sunroof will likely chime in and help you with that.

Re: No power to the sunroof
Cool, thanks.
Left track goes up/down, will slide back about an inch. The right side does nothing. I can manually lift it up/down.

Re: No power to the sunroof
I can now manually move the right track up/down and slide it front/back. I see something small towards the rear of the framing thats inside the track. It moves a 1-2 inches when hitting the switch. Left side still goes up/down and only the plastci part slides 1-2" when hitting the switch. Do I need another assembly?

Re: No power to the sunroof
Nonservicable, so what do I have to lose by dismantling it? Headliner is down and the assembly is out of the car. I removed the motor to see it`s a worm style cable, just like a power window assembly from Century class tractor trailer which I have ALOT of experience with. I removed the return housing (black housing), blew it out with air, reinstalled and pulled the worm in and out. The driver side would not move, it seemed to be jammed. With pulling the worm and pushing the track at the same time it finally let lose. After cleaning out the track with air (nothing came out) I lubed and slide the track back and forth, works fast and easy now. The passenger is trouble. The piece at the end of the worm (plastic piece) is broke in half at where it connects to the movable inside track. I used a 1/8 drill bit to make a hole on the broke piece. Didn`t drill completey through because the movable track already has a hole. I cleaned it and used epoxy to join the two piece together and used a screw for a more secure hold. I bench tested and both tracks are moving fine. So far so good, I`ll put the glass in it and try again in a few hours when I know the epoxy is 100% dry. The glass would give weight to the track for it to move, if it breaks it`ll do it then. Wish me luck guys.
