Huh?Stadawim wrote:"Floor shifter".. For some reason that one amused me. Just because they keep sliding out of sight nowadays. I don't think Bonnes have had those in awhile, and if they did it was early 90s last wasn't it? (i'm not sure, just curious) But i do remember that that was like the deciding factor on whether or not you got a Buick Regal (floor shift) or a Century (stalk shift).

All FWD Bonnevilles have had either option available. There are tons of 00+ Bonnes with column shift.

Re: Differences in Bonneville models.
All Bonnevill SLE's, SSE's and SSEi's all had floor shift...
SE's were a mixed bag... More than most of the time the floor shifter was part of a package deal...
Then to go further back... 87-91 LE and SE could be had either way... The SSE came with Floor shift only

Ive seen lots of 00+ bonnevilles with column shift. I used to think that column shift only came in plain jane basic bonnies, but I seen column shift bonnevilles loaded with leather & sunroof.00Beast wrote:

Re: Differences in Bonneville models.
You've seen a lot of SE Bonnevilles with column shift... some of the time it all depends on how its ordered... The SE had the widest range of options from unloaded to quite loaded... The SE's from 92-05 could be had in many configurations... Its funny when you see them with column shift and leather....lol.... For the 2000+ they could be ordered in 5 passenger or 6 passenger format, making the difference between column and floor shift..

Re: Differences in Bonneville models.
Either blue beats the ranks of Bonnevilles I see painted in that bronze colour (Bronzemist Metallic, I think...). About half of all the 00+ Bonnevilles I see are painted this colour, which I think is far less flattering on it compared to most of the others. I'm glad mine is silver, even though it's a common colour.Ponch 04 wrote:I have never seen a Bonneville in that color.2002BonnevilleSE wrote:Man I hit the mother load......only 1615 painted Cadet Blue. Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the rarest colour by number made is? If I had to guess based off of personal experience I'd say green...

Re: Differences in Bonneville models.
I'm guessing my color and my dad's car's color are in the running for rarest colors on Bonnevilles. Mine is probably the rarest color on an SSEi, since it started in 03.

My 97 SE was Dark Lichen in color. Of 64,000+ Bonnevilles made that year on 1600 where that color. Less then 3% made that color.
May it rest in pieces......lol
*dang* thing had 3.06 gears compaired to my 02.
