im wondering what if any significance does the black pontiac emblem have. i have never seen one other than on my 96 ssei.

I've seen some that were white and some that were black from the factory. Just an oddity is all.

Mine has a black arrow too. I think they did them body color on the SSEi and SSE's for 96-99 as my old green SSE had a green emblem on the grille.

I like the body color emblem, goes really well with the sporty monotone look of the 96-99 SSE and 98-99 SLE; which is obviously what the designers had in mind.

Yea my old 96 ssei emblem matched the color of the car.

The grill emblem on my red 94 SE Bonny is black with silver lines. Don't know what that means. Have never gotten that close a look at any other one. Maybe at WCBF :banana:

Note if you pull the injectors to obserbe fuel delivery...make sure you leave the plugs in and disconnect the ign. Believe me
