It does feel a bit like a cave with an all black interior, small windows, and extremely short windshield, but legroom and headroom (without a sunroof) shouldn't be an issue for anyone under 6' 5". I'm 6' 2".

Onstar is the most unsafe feature of the car. The tall rearview mirror with those onstar buttons can hide an entire car when you're sitting at an intersection.

Very nice! Sharp looking car, and cool to have one that you ordered yourself :) Nice pics too, btw - I like those night shots showing the ambient lighting on the doors - cool little detail.

I can echo your thoughts on the cave-like black interior - I sat in a Synergy Green RS last year, and was disappointed with the horrible visibility and useless trunk, even compared to similar vehicles. But...it looks sweet!

I got some autobot centercaps and didn't want to take the wheels off or jam a screwdriver in there, so i got a little creative:

1-3/4" socket, brake bleeder, and weatherstrip. Sucked the centercaps right out.

That sure is a sweet looking car. I sure hope one lands in my garage some point in my life. And as others mentioned, get that thing out on the street and show her off!!! Will take 5 years to break it in at 1500 miles a year! :P

2SS is just the upper level SS package, there are some more options. It's like 1LT and 2LT, 2LT is just a little nicer with some more "standard" options.

Oh,okay thanks..Another thing, when I test drove one at the dealership they only had the SS and the LT.Most of the magazine write ups I've read in my research mentioned an RS,where does this one fit in the lineup?

True! Yeah I thought about that when i was putting them on. I wanted a yellow supercharged Monte Carlo until the 2006 SEMA camaro pictures came out anyway. Coincidentally i've loved Optimus Prime since i was about 6.

RS is a package that can be applied to LT and SS models that adds Halos, HID's, darker tails, 20" wheels (to the LT) and body color roof ditch molding. (big whoop there) Mine is a 2SS with the RS package. The way to tell the difference between 1 and 2 models is that 1 is cloth, 2 is leather.

If you have an LT with the RS package, you get RS badges.
If you have an SS with the RS package, you get red SS badges instead of silver.

The autobot centercaps come from GM believe it or not.

LOL,the salesman said he wasn't aware of an RS,thanks for clearing that up for me....Interesting that GM has those caps....The dash took some time for me to get used to it but when I drove the car it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.I hope to get one by years end.

I thought I had this all figured out but I guess I'm a little confused now. If you have an LT w/the RS package, it's a V6 right? The SS is the only way you can get a V8, with or w/out the RS package?
