Small cracks in dash board ?

Post by LouderBonneville »

i have some small cracks strating in my vinyl dash and one is like a star burst crack the size of a qauter . is there some stuff out there ( cheap Stuff ) . like i seen it on "as seen on TV" commercials of leather and vinyl repair stuff ? You mix this like expoxy stuff and mixe ur color in of your vinyl/leather and put it on the crack and use a texture cloth/board to add texture to the repair to match the textured to the vinyl pn the dash ?

Best bet is to replace/recover the dash. Anything out there is only a "fix" and the dash will probably start cracking again in another spot.

I have that kit, it held on my RF passenger (Leather) seat for about 3 years, needs to be done again, as well as another spot on the driver's seat.

It works well, but you need to have EXTREME patience, mix very small batches, and get a little lucky on your color mix.
