car will not start, starter fried? maybe?
Re: car will not start, starter fried? maybe?
Did you try pulling the plugs again to turn the motor over to expel all the raw gas? You should pull the fuse for the fuel pump or the PCM so that you don't flood it with gas again. Once cycled a few times try putting the plugs back in and firing it up.

well i think the plugs might be fried, there kinda burnt up,
and every time i pull em out they have black all over em,
im gonna replace them all,
and check over all the battery cables,
and the starter will be here tomorrow
also im considering,
that i might have just not flushed out
all the junk well enough,
and the plugs are just getting all wet every time i put em in,
so im gonna redo the flush, and make sure its all dried up this time.
im just trying everything over again see if i missed something.

You don't have to go through that trouble.Bing wrote:Did you try pulling the plugs again to turn the motor over to expel all the raw gas? Floor the pedal before you crank and keep holding while cranking. That shuts the injectors off. I would do this when you crank while the plugs are out also so you don't introduce new fuel.

Change your oil too. Get that coolant out of the oil, where it's attacking your bearings.

Re: car will not start, starter fried? maybe?
success! the car is tip top now!
i cleaned out alot of coolant from the egr, its dry now.
changed the oil, ran motor flush too.
it ended up we just turned the crank like 50 times, and it started.
oh the insane sounds and smells it made when we got it goin,
but now it sounds great, no funny colored smoke, no backfires,
and all thanks to the collaborated effort of alot of help on here,
the chicago garage, and a couple of my buddies today.
