Didn't they pass a law saying that mods won't void your warranty? Anyways I probably won't do anything with it since it would be a pain in the butt demodding everything when I turn it in... but at this point there's a very good chance of me paying it off and keeping it at the end of the lease....

Looks good!

How loud is it at 65? Our Honda Fit isn't so bad at 65, but it's downright noisy with tire noise at 75. The engine is a buzz-bomb when it downshifts.

Leave it in cruise and it's silent as a mouse (seriously, this is as quiet as a 90s Lexus), but give it a little gas and you can hear it. It has a really odd sound to it down low, almost like it has DI which it doesn't. Actually, it almost sounds like a lifter tick! So I went online and read some posts on fiesta faction (will not replace Pontiac Bonneville Club anytime soon, don't worry, lol) and I guess it's pretty typical, although reading some posts of people having major issues with them before their first oil change is kinda giving me the creeps. But that's what the warranty is for!

Oh, and Ed, if I get rims, they will be these...

Looks like it's a hair above 2,500 RPM at 60 MPH. Quite a revver. My Saab does 2,000 RPM at 65 MPH.

And I like the Euro Focus wheel but that's just my opinion.

I do like those wheels Peter. Stay stock for the summerr, then get them in the stock size, have snows put on the stock wheels, and the stock tires put on those wheels. See how well I spend your money? :) :beerchug:

I've been curious as to how other cars run at certain speeds. Mine does about 3500 rpm at 75ish mph. And I wanna say 3000 rpm at 65 mph.

The car looks good Peter, I know you will like the gas savings as I have.

Good god! At 3500 RPM, the Saab is doing like a buck ten.

Ha yeah, this car really needs a 6th gear or something. But it still can do mid 30s in MPG at that speed.

Yeah I agree, I'm used to idling around 2100 going 70, not 3200!! But Ford must know what they're doing, because I've gotten 44mpg on a stretch of flat highway before going 65mph. I still think it needs a 6th gear

Oh and just for fun, lets all embrace our inner hipster

Are you considering getting stock sized wheels? What size are they?

I suggest bumping up one inch. Trust me, when I got new wheels in 16s for my Bonneville, I wished I got 17s instead so when I got the Saab, went to 17s and never looked back.

Nice Fiesta!

GXP is 2000rpm at 60mph, and a hair under 2500rpm at 75mph.
SSEi was 1800rpm at 60mph, 2200rpm at 75mph.

I'd probably get the 17s, though I don't want the ride to suffer. The ride is one of the things I love about this car and I really don't want that ruined...

Oh, and thanks Jerry!

Actually Jerry the Tack in the SSEi had to be off... My 95 does almost 2200 @ 80 Mph and thats the 3.06 Gears... My tach shows 2500 @ 80, Ultra gauge says 2200..

Just checked the math... 2200 for a 3.06 is pretty much a dead 80 Mph..

For the 2.97 its 82 Mph @ 2200... 1600 @ 60 Mph

Just thinking about it... The 96+ is set up for an early Overdrive like 44-45 Mph.... Imagine running at 1250 Rpms, its amazing what these V6's could tug under that much load...

My memory might be fuzzy too...

I do remember for a fact that 2000rpm on the dot happened at 71mph.
