Wow, nice find! Looks like it was a pretty well maintained vehicle - wonder why the motor failed?

Btw, do I spy your Bonnie with a different color rear bumper in the background?

I figured someone would notice that... Up until last week I had a black bumper on the rear. I have been slowly finding the best body parts I can for when I have my car resprayed. The black one was in great shape, but it was more needed on my project car. I had a maroon one that went on instead.

Had my PDR guy stop out today to quote me on fixing the hail damage. The trunk lid only has 1 minor ding, but the hood and roof have about 10 dents per panel. He quoted me $550 to fix the hood and roof. Yikes! I was thinking it would be about half of that. I called a few other shops and I guess thats the going rate for that kind of hail damage.

I haven't mentioned it yet, but I already have this car arranged to be sold when its done. Shannon's uncle is looking for a new car, and has been impressed with some of my flips. He said he can either give the money to a dealer, or get it from me. I was explaing how this one is in great condition. We are currently looking for a low mileage engine, probably something around 75k, so he can drive it for a long time. I asked him what to do about the hail damage... he said to him its not worth fixing, so the it won't be fixed. Its pretty hard to notice on white anyways.

White does not show imperfections like other colors... Its one of those colors that will let you get away with quite a bit and still look really good... That Military sticker should have been peeled off the windshield before they sold it to you...lol

Looks like it expired a while back... But still... ha ha

I would be all over that if it didn't have unknown mileage.

Some of the engines I'm looking at are:
77k for $950 shipped
109k for $850 shipped
129k for $730 shipped

Wish you were closer to me... My local LKQ has a 48,000 mile L32 for $950.. And they can be worked down a little..

The 77k one is not a bad deal.. Being that its more or less for family thats the route I would go..

I guess if I open my options to low mile L32's, the options are endless. I should be able to find something with crazy low miles for under $1000.

There is one with 6,895 miles for $950 in TX. I'll do some calling around on Monday and hopefully get something with the SC so I can re-sell that.

L32 can just be ran with the long block? Or do you have to use the l67 heads?

Whats the deal with L32's being so much cheaper than l67's or l36's? Seems like you can get them for the same price with 70,000 less miles on them.

L32's aren't cheaper than any of them, you gotta look at prices in that area. If you look, generally the L36/L67 engines will be cheaper than the L32's.

I called on that 6k mile L32 for $950. They said it had "some damage", so I asked for some pics. This is "some damage".
ImageImageImageImage

This was another one I was looking at. I just ordered it. 21k mile L32 for $1000 shipped. Comes with the GenV, so I should be able to get $400-500 just for that. Anyone interested in a very low mileage GenV?

what is involved in adapting the gen V? is it that you would rather stick with the oem gen III blower and make the money? or is it too much work to adapt the gen V?
