Seemed like it gained a little bit of flow. The main effect was how quickly the A/C came on. The time was significantly lessened until I had cool air. The car wasn't driven, so I didn't get to experience how cold it could have been. It was pretty durned cold for merely idling, where it wasn't quite as cold before IIRC. Could be a placebo, but it's a cheap enough placebo!

Any carb cleaner that won't disolve the plastic housing or melt carpet.

If you can't see any grime you may not get a noticeable difference. 92-99 bonnies have weak airflow. Blower motor failures are rare but not unheard of....it is more common for the blower controller module or air mix door to fail.

thanks, like I said when I pulled it all apart the evap core looked nice and clean. I guess the fan isn't all that powerful in the first place.

I suppose you'll tell us if it dissolves the plastic housing around your evap core. I suggest you test it on a small area.

I used Wurth Brand Brake Clean on mine the other day at work, My core wasnt dirty at all, but i still used most of a can, and quite a bit of water, without flooding my interior...thankfully.
Seems good to go now, it did get rid of a musty AC smell..
