Our SSE was about 7 years old the first time it was hit (woman driver backing up without looking & it was after dark). It now has been hit and backed over by trucks (red-necks) & other things so many times I am hard pressed to remember how many times it has been damaged. Everything from women to drunk red-necks to kids driving cars without brakes. By the way, sorry about the car, it does do more than just take the wind out of your sails the first time they get hit. - BC

now i realize there is a majority of testosterone here on the club... however I do not believe that women, as a whole, are worse then men. So... this should be changed to 'bad drivers'... because there are a lot of idiotic people out there both male and female...

Yes, I used to live in the mountains of NC and we got a lot of those special Fla. drivers up there in the summer. We used to call them 'floridiots'. Thing was, most of them weren't actually natives of the sunshine state.

There's definitely as many bad men drivers as women drivers, but here in California there are a lot of women drivers from countries where women don't generally drive, and they are particularly dangerous on the roads. California drivers in general -men and women- are among the worst drivers I've experienced in this country. I regularly see people turn right, across 5 lanes of traffic, from the farthest left left-turn lane; and likewise people in the right-turn lane crossing traffic and turning left. I call these a "California right tun" and a "California left turn". It's amazing. (And there's never a cop around when that happens.)

Happens here in FL too, Just like Cali.... 90 MPH Hang a right across 4 lanes  .... Sometimes they hang a turn on a straight road with no turnoffs into the trees, like the trees were just going to move :eek2:

I read a piece recently comparing accidents of men vs. women. They found that men are in more fatal and high-speed accidents because they do more driving on highways, but they found women drivers much worse than men for low speed collisions and fender-benders.
