Water leak I can't seem get to

Post by Trums2 »

I have finally found my water leak, but I don't seem to be able to find an replacement part or how to remove the part. The piece is located under the supercharger and seems to be coming out of the intake manifold. It's a small tube of plastic that turns at a right angle and heads to the back of the engine. Does anybody know what this part is called and hor to get it out to replace it. This poor car goes through about a gallon of water every time I go somewhere.

It's the coolant elbow. You'll have to remove the belts, alternator, then the bracket it goes into. There are 2, the one you can see, and another on the bottom. They can be found in the Dorman HELP! section of any auto parts store. It's 45 minutes and $20.

Lower Intake gaskets still fail. I would definitely replace them.

Yes with the aluminum ones if they haven't been replaced before.
