To check the oil, remove the oil plug on the nosedrive. The level should be at the bottom of the threads (after it has sat for a little while and the oil has settled out of the gears).

I check once or twice a year.

Where the nosedrive (nosedrive is the cone where the pulley comes out on the s/c) meets the casing, towards the front of the motor, there will be a round, 5/8" or so plug that has an allen spot in it that you turn out with an allen wrench (hex). The oil should be to the bottom of the threads. GM says it should be changed every 100,000 miles.

Should be on as level of a surface as possible. If you're parked on the street you should be fine. Just so you know, it smells terrible. It's made out of animal fats, and now that they've been cooked by your hot engine, they smell really bad. If you do decide to change it, don't let it near your dog (if you have one). Like mine, it'll chew the bottle up and spill it all over your sidewalk...

It should be reinforced, use ONLY GM supercharger oil, or the same stuff from one of our vendors. NOTHING else.

What's the supercharger oil worth over there ?

Tried GM today, and it's $49 for 120ml bottle...and I need 2 of them.

Did a bit of scouting around and got some GM bottles from ZZ Performance...they offered a range of postal options (like a dozen), ranging from $11 to $72.

Having that sort of problem for a lot of stuff. $20 bottle of Rejex, $50 shipping etc.

Wes, I'm in Australia. 80 miles west of Sydney, and 40 miles east of Bathurst.

3 bottles delivered from ZZ Performance yesterday for the same price as 1 bottle from the local dealer.

Very well packaged.

Good work.
