i saw this hose broken when replacing my MAF 4 days ago. i would love to know what it is so i can replace it. thanks guys. first right answer gets props lol

i tried putting some tubing on there when i noticed the break which was in the actual "fitting". i pulled it off, put some rubber hose on but it "disintegrated" as my dad wanted to say lol. i guess theres just air that passes through there correct? also, is there tubing that i can buy that is safe to use instead of that junk rubber i used

If you can find some tubing of the right diameter to fit snuggly over both ends, that will work, otherwise hit up the dealer for that part. A parts store will not carry that fitting, only generic tubing.
