newbie,
Hi, I am a newbie, found this site when looking for trouble shoot overheating on my 1994. I have two Pontiac Bonneville SSEI's Superchargers and won't trade them for any thing but here lately been having trouble with both of them. One had problems with it would die on me driving down the road and I would have to pull over because it wouldn't start up again and I had to reset computer to get it to start just to make it home. Ened up beening the cam sensor. Still haveing problems with it but can't really tell if my catilac converter is half way stoped up or my EGR vavle is shot. I'm leaning to converter but guess I'll find out when I get more money to put in to it. But on to the over heating how can I tell if it is my intake manifold gaskets or my water pump it's got a good heater in runs you out of car most of time. And on my 1993 I have been haveing trannie problems. Didnt pay but three hundred for this one so I can't complain But she runs to good to leave her sitting. Is it very hard to rebuild one and do they com with instructions to rebuild them. Don't want to get into it if I can't see how to get them back might forget some thing. Oh, and on my 1994 I have replaced about every thing on it like the PVC vavle, Cam sensor, Water pump, radiator cap. And also are there sensors on the motor some where to kick on fans both work done tried them out but wont kick on for some reason and if there is where do I find it sure could use the help. Thanks in advance.

Re: newbie,
A plugged catalytic converter can cause overheating as well. Maybe head to the shop and get a backpressure test.

Re: newbie,
Probably in the 92-99 section, unless you think it's a supercharger problem.
