I don't have to work until 4:00. Ryen is more than welcome here. You know that. I take it Melonie has to work?

im afraid im gonna not be able to make it now
Yeah, that's a bummer. It seems that when you are nice to them they treat you like crap. I've come to the conclusion that I HAVE to beat on my car a little everyday. It likes it.
She ended up with Saturday off of work but doesn't want to drive to Holly. She lives in Mount Pleasant (about 20 min from the "Crash" family) so she plans to meet up with us for the after party.

Good deal! I can't wait. hopefully theres a good turn out in spite of high gas prices and poor weather outlook.
last weekend i was at a diesel truck meet with a friend and the turnout wasn't all that great (only a few hundred people, not the thousand or so there was last year i've been told). hopefully these factors don't dampen our meet as well!

**EDIT**
I just saw a report on the news saying that beef was tainted with E.Coli. Doesn't seem safe to bring beef, but I'm more than willing and able to get a substitute if anyone has any suggestions.
Hmmm, I am not sure on how much to bring.... Looks like about 15 people total going to make it, so I would figure maybe 8 lbs?

don't you guy's have the pre made (frozen) Hamburgar Patties down there in the states? that would seam a MUCH better route to go, especialy if there is an E.coli scare going on. (personaly have always prefurred them over hand made burgars anyway..

There will also be an "after party" at my house for those interested. We have a few members making a six hour + drive to make it here, so we will have a convoy after the meet back to my house for a little BC party. For those interested ( anyone is welcome ) it is about a 1 1/2 hour drive back to my house. I live at 1249 N. nine mile, Sanford Mi, 48657 for those that want to Google map it. We will likely have a fire, play cards, have beers, whatever... I have plenty of room for everyone to sleep and park, so that is not a problem. I do have one request though. You drink, you stay. That is all, pretty simple. It will be a great time, we did the same thing last year and it was a blast!!!

I would have to agree. if you can, just grab the pre made burger patties. much easier for a cookout in this case. oh, and unless you get the beef from Gordons then i think we're safe http://www.clickondetroit.com/consumer/ ... etail.html

for anyone whos wondering... I think i'm going to try and get there a bit early. i live about 30 min from that place so i'll probably show up late in the morning and camp out with the truck.
i'll probably be detailing it a little in some shade somewhere if i can find any.
I gotta make it shine if i'm going to compete with these bonnies
