Hey everyone, i have 1993 sse and it has a code 18 and i have tried everything to get it to run right I must add its funny it runs great till it get to operating temp and then it wont get out of its own way. I found breaks in the harness that goes from the ignition mod to the crank and cam sensors thought i had it solved not, so put a new ignition mod on and got a code 42 now whats the deal even swapped out the computer same problem puzzled need help anyone see anything like this Thanks

I think a 42 is frequently caused by a bad knock sensor or wiring to it. But I'm halfway across the country from my factory service manual right now.

well i went over to his place and put a new used wire harness on it
with him and it ran fine till it gets temp. the car pops threw the intake
and stumbles kinda like a fuel or spark miss but a little worse. could a sensor be bad
replaced a cam and crank sensor with good used ones also. if i missed some thing just
let us know thanks
