What happened to Jarod's car? Trans? Didn't he install a TripleEdge Trans?
Bye Bye:

Wasn't the trans per se. My call at the track after a couple minutes of download and troubleshooting was sheared torque converter bolts or a blown input shaft. Jared agreed. The reason for this is that I was standing beside his car when he launched, and I heard a metallic snap. He lost all forward power at the 330' marker. On the tow back behind myfirstbonnie's suburban, I had him turn on the accessory power and saw good output from the Hud, and the trans resistance from turning the wheels was good, as well as both wheels turning when we turned one (proving the output side was good, but I'm a little perplexed about the LSD turning the wheels opposite directions, mine doesn't do that).

Jared recently discovered a blown TC. That confirms the sound and subsequent failure several hundred feet apart.

General pics from a couple days:

Waiting 3.5 hours for a tow, Matt used the tall weeds, I just hid myself between 2 doors of the Zilla. Less bugs and burrs:

While John decided to use the time between playing football on the shoulder of the highway and making a rock launcher out of a bungee cord to detail Gravenge:
Image

And the rubber chicken finally made it up onto the truck for the ride to my house:

A couple days later, the rubber chicken made it onto an under-rated tow dolly, and we had rigged up a custom bench bleeding fitting setup for the Bullet's Firebird MC:

Today, less than an hour ago, Lisa decided she wanted the belts back on the SLEeper since it's more fun to drive than the LeSabre. We had taken them off so driverjohn2005 and I would have spares at the track, so she dove in there with high spirits and a fresh beer, wearing the AWESOME new mechanic's gloves Paul and Laura gave me at the meet:

.....and I don't intend to Tracy.  :booty:

You're only as young....or old....as you feel. After each Meet I keep feeling younger, but with the knowledge and wisdom of someone who was born in the 50's.

Glad to see Lisa putting those gloves to work.

Also glad to see that no one has posted any of my "Presentation Pics". :-$
They wouldn't top the one of Tracy doing a Keg stand.......speaking of growing up Tracy.

We're home now.
After unpacking we watered our brown lawn Laura and I were sitting in the back yard drinking a beer an a hawk came down and landed a few feet from us taking a bath in the sprinkler. It stayed there for a good half hour while we finished our last Henry Weinhard Private Reserve to celebrate one of the best WCBF Meets we have attended. :beerchug:
