This is the place to plan and find out about any meets in your area. Meets of Any size can be discussed here. PLAN your Meet here, then start a new topic for attendees after the details are worked out.
Another change in plans. Laura is coming now! Crisis averted......for now.
The tires will still fit but I have to sacrifice the chairs and cooler.....and possible a good case of Sleeman Honey Brown ale.
I know the locals can provide the chairs and cooler and Safeway can provide the beer.
OK Laura......I'm gonna make you sweat now!

Paul, what time do you think you will be hitting the Portland area? My daughter's orthodontist appointment is at 9am. I plan on hitting the road soon after. We could meet up and tag it down there.
Well I was planning on leaving on Sunday and overnighting somewhere south of Seattle but that means an extra night cost for accomodations so we might leave Monday now and go the whole distance which means we would arrive late Monday evening. Depends on the weather and how much sleep I get Saturday night.
If it looks like rain, which is doubtful this time of year, we'll pick the time to miss it.
So if we leave Sunday, we'll be in Portland before Noon Monday, but if we leave on Monday, we'll be by Portland around 7:pm.
I'll have my cell on and my new "USA GPS" guiding the way. Either way, you'll know on Sunday and we can plan a tag team if possible.

Hey guys! Sorry for being quiet the last few months. Been pretty crazy for me with 3 weddings and a few vacations.
I evaluated my finacial situation versus the time I have to get Gravenge ready and just don't think I can have her ready in time; BUT don't count me out! I think I will be just sporting the Expedition again this year (yes not my #1 choice of course but it will just have to make due...)
CaddyMatt sounds like he won't be able to go but if he does he will tag along with me.
I will be leaving early morning of the 23rd and will need to leave the evening of the 25th. Being at a new job that was all the time off I felt comfortable taking.
In addition I will be looking into either camping or getting hotel reservations within the next few days.
--I would also like to say that I know this will be a very small turnout this year; but I think we can still make the best of it. With the poor economic climate being felt by everyone I am not suprised. If anything it will be great to hang out with some of the people I have known for YEARS and talk about the wonderful Bonneville's that have brought everyone together! --

What's the weather forecast Bill for the next week?
I only have 2WD60 A/C but it's perfect weather here in BC in the low 70's with plenty of sunshine.
I just finished all my chores. The fence is done and painted.
The last time I took a long road trip with my Bird, it had the super speedway 2.41 gearing but now with the normal "highway" gears and no overdrive she should be spinning at 2500 rpm at 60 mph. .......with occasional blasts to 4000 rpm.
Thank goodness these V8 Magnaflows don't drone as much as in the SSEi.
All packed and ready to roll in two more days.
